Jenn’s passion for vibrant and sustainable food systems comes from a deep love of the natural world and a passion for nutrition. Hailing from the Lone Star State, Jenn moved to Colorado to earn a B.S. in Nutrition from Colorado State University.
Jenn moved to California to earn her Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist credential through the California Polytechnic University and was immediately in awe of the state’s beauty and intrigued by the food produced by California, both on land and sea.
At a relatively early age, Jenn became the Director of Nutrition Services for the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, where she prioritized local and sustainable procurement and co-founded the Bay2Tray program with Real Good Fish. Jenn served as a Fresh Meals @ Schools Ambassador for the California Department of Education and directed the California Thursdays program, a state-wide initiative led by the Center for Ecoliteracy.
Jenn is thrilled to officially join the team at Real Good Fish to bring the health benefits of wild, sustainable, local seafood to as many people as possible, while preserving the ocean’s abundance for future generations, including her and Alan’s son, Luca.
